I am taking a new yoga teaching job this summer at the Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch. A beautiful and serene spot in the Sawtooth Mountains with amazing outdoor recreation and plenty of outdoor open space. The perfect environment after "sheltering in place" in Arizona at home since mid-March.
How did I find my way to Idaho? A year ago, I met Celena Votel at The Scott Resort. She and I worked at the La Vidorra Spa together and she shared her story about her freestyle life journey. She and her husband travel the world working at different resorts, meeting all kinds of people, and living an awesome life. I took her suggestion and started looking into opportunities to feed my wanderlust for teaching yoga around the world.
My search led my husband, Ray, and I to pursue our passions. His is cooking with color and mine is teaching and practicing yoga. As luck and destiny came together, we found the perfect place to escape the Arizona summer heat and feed our passion for doing what we love. Enter Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch. Our journey begins this month, we will drive north and explore along the way. Stopping to hike and photograph some of the most beautiful natural wonders in America.
Our favorite hobby together is travelling the world. We are so fortunate to have seen so much of it and this year it will be our home country, the USA! Stay tuned as we share what we learn and love about this new adventure.
